Every couple puts so much into planning and organizing their wedding, sometimes maybe even a little too much. Hollywood, TV and social media all almost glamorize the entire planning process, they show all the pretty little details, bride’s saying yes to the dress, couples visiting breathtaking venues… while some of it is definitely fluffed up to make it easy and exciting to watch and be entertained by, most of it is pretty true. A couples venue is one of the biggest pieces of their wedding, the bride and the people who are with her will always remember that moment when she finally finds her dress. These are all very important things and should be celebrated. What I want to talk about with you and what I learned from Abbi and Ben’s wedding is a little different.
I want to talk about what happens DURING the wedding. I can rattle off a bunch of movies revolving around a chaotic, almost disaster wedding that somehow buttons everything up and the couple smiles. How many movies have you watched where the couple really did just truly enjoy their day? As I was pulling photographs for Abbi and Ben’s blog, I could not help but notice how in each photo and each part of their day, they just simply had fun. From the laughs at the salon to the raised hands during their fireworks, Abbi and Ben just reveled in their day. So as you look through these photographs, let their happiness soak into your day just a little bit. And to you Abbi and Ben, thank you for choosing me to be next to you while you had so much fun!!!
