All in all, Rockford probably is not going to rate high in being an overly interesting city, it is more than anything, your typical Midwest city. There are a handful of unique places spread around the area if you look carefully. One of these I photographed today. I took a walk along the river and stopped at the Stonemen statues right near the Sinnissippi Gardens. I really do not know very much of the history of them, anybody out there want to chime in?
