These two.

….    ….. ……..

Where do I even start?

I am actually struggling with this one a little bit. Maybe I should start with how much Summer like surprises, she waited 8 months to …. er. No, lets skip that one. How about Jake’s compliment (I think it was a compliment) that Elizabeth was with me 2nd shooting so he didn’t have to worr… nah. Moving on….

You know what, I am going to scratch trying to explain Summer and Jake to you. I just can’t even. I will tell you what I am going to remember from their wedding though. I had the joy (for real) of working with Summer when she was a wedding coordinator. Anytime I came into a wedding and she was working, I knew I was going to be in good hands. With her working the wedding, I knew I could be just a photographer. That is until she got married and she would not let me be just a photographer. Neither would Jake. Or their family. Or their friends. All through the day I was always asked if I needed anything, if they could do something for me… it just NEVER stopped! It was weird, it was almost like Summer and Jake wanted me to be around them 😉 I remember Jake treating me like one his football friends even though he only knew me for like 4 minutes before his wedding. Which if you are one of his football friends that means Jake saying nice things really loud so others hear and then leaning in quietly to whisper how he REALLY feels about you. I will take that as compliment too Jake, so thank you.

At the end of the night I really felt like I was able to be more than just a photographer for this couple that is special in so many ways. So Summer and Jake, thank you for letting me be that guy for your wedding!
