I am tired.
This is my fourth wedding with this group of friends and just to make things interesting, Rosa and Frankie threw the largest bridal party I have ever had at me. Little did they know I am just as much as a fool as they all are, so I fit right in. Seriously though, the size of their bridal party is a testament to just how many people they have a great relationship with. Watching them throughout the day, the people in the party were not there just because. I could tell that each and every person had a very specific reason why Rosa and Frankie asked them to be a part of their wedding and after hearing some of the stories how they became friends, I found myself smiling with them.
Because their wedding was so big, this is one of my biggest blog post ever. You will see many photographs of the wedding, the crazy party, Aug dancing (at least I think that is what you call it), amazing desserts, beautiful details … but that is not what I am going to remember. I am going remember Rosa and Frankie from a handful of photographs that were taken in short moment. You know Frankie as being loud and fun and Rosa right next to him stirring the pot and causing playful trouble. However when I pulled them away from the chaos and the celebration, they turned and looked at each other and they both almost just froze, like someone hit the mute and pause button all around us. That is a moment I think they have very regularly when alone, I just happened to be lucky enough to have a camera near them this time.
Rosa and Frankie, thank you so much for letting me hang out with all your friends one more time. Keep being you.
