What does a wedding on the 4th of July need to have? Fireworks… check, Pig Roast… check, Smores… check. Watermelon eating contest… check. Megan and John’s wedding had the perfect blend of a traditional Ukrainian Orthodox wedding and good ‘ol 4th of July Pig Roast. As the Megan was telling me about the details of her wedding, I was trying to wrap my head around how it would all come together. To be completely honest, I did not see how it could work out. Then I actually got to spend some time with Megan and John and at the end of the day, I could not imagine how they could have their wedding day be any different than how it actually was. Between the friends, the family and even the beer pong, I watched this couple bounce through the day with nothing but laughter and joy.
Megan and John, thank you for letting me into your family for the day and letting me photograph all the crazy moments! I will be telling the story of your wedding for a long time!
