Kylie and Sean | Wedding at Orchard Ridge Farms

When I photographed Kylie and Sean’s engagement session I learned so much about them but there was one thing that I remember more than all the others. I photographed their engagement session in downtown Chicago near where they live and when I pulled up into the parking lot, they were there waiting for me. Standing by themselves. Holding their 2nd set of clothes. No where near another car. I was a little puzzled so I asked and that is when I found out they do not have a car and are perfectly fine with it, almost in a way where they just noticed that they didn’t have a car. At the end of the night, when we were done shooting, we were quite a ways away from their place so I offered to give them a ride home. They gladly turned me down to go find a restaurant they had never been too and said they would find their way home. They then skipped away, hand in hand, into the warm Chicago night.

When these two are together everything else seems to disappear around them, they get so lost into each other that they seem to forget everything that has no real value. All that matters is the moment they are in and that they have each other in that moment. And they can take the most mundane thing, a ride home, and turn it into an adventure. I know I am so grateful I was able to be apart of their adventure on their wedding day. From the Copperstone Inn bright and early to a late night sparkler exit, I was there the entire day with both of them. I was watching them laugh, watching them cry and sometimes even poking a little fun at their expense. Kylie and Sean thank you for tracking me down and being such a proponent of mine!
