So I have known Kendall and Doug for about 12 years…. er…. actually no. I have only know Kendall and Doug for about 14 months. However I am good friends with multiple people who are Kendall and Doug’s close friends and then were in their bridal party, so when they became engaged and started asking for advice on who they should have photograph their wedding, my name was given to them. Then again. And again. Apparently my friends think I am at minimum a spectacularly average photographer 😀 Over the past 14 months I have heard all the plans, all the details, been shown photos of the bachelor and bachelorette party, allowed into their memories of Kyle and what he meant to them and of course photographed their engagement session. So when I was watching Kendall walk down the aisle by herself, while Doug watched her, I knew (but could never comprehend) what both of them were feeling inside.
Kendall and Doug, it was truly my honor to be part of your day. Only you two will ever truly know the range of emotions that were going through both of you and I know that some of them were tough to remember. Just know that from this day forward, you will never have to bear the burden of not having someone to share those emotions with. You two truly were made for each other.
