A little over a year ago I sat at a table at Meg’s Daily Grind on Perryville (shameless plug) across from Kealy. And Zak. And Kealy’s Mom. And Kealy’s Dad. They had been to wedding expos, that had already had meetings with other photographers, they knew the questions to ask and how to ask them and for close to 2 hours I answered. I walked away from that meeting hopeful but not confident, little did I know what was going to happen over the next year and through their wedding day. This incredible family chose to give their full trust to me and let me completely run with it, from doing their engagement session at WaHoo (not a shameless plug) to putting up with me repeatably calling Zak, Dan. SORRY! This is something that I greatly appreciate as it gives me the opportunity to flesh out some of the photographs I have bouncing around in my head. That and also it takes a lot of trust to give that decision making away. The end result is a couple that that truly enjoyed their day, they didn’t worry about a thing I touched and I truly believe if you were there, you saw how relaxed and into the moment they were. I hope that my photographs put you right into the day as they experienced it.
