This engagement session had it all. Seriously. A couple who are truly in love, a location that had meaning to both of them (it is also where they met AND got engaged), perfect weather, a beautiful sunset, a stream, horses and even donkeys that sound like Velociraptors.
To start though, go check out the location where we photographed their session, it is called Bravehearts Therapeutic Riding & Education Center. Just an amazing place with a purpose that more people need to know about and also support. They were gracious enough to let us share their space on this beautiful evening. When we were planning their engagement session, I asked Kate and Ben if there was a location that had any meaning for them as a couple. Before I could even finished the sentence, they had both replied “Bravehearts”. As I started to dig further into why they both said this location, I found out how special it was not only for them as a couple but also for them individually. As we walked the grounds, I heard the story of not only how they met but the VERY first time Ben saw Kate. Watching Ben show me the exact door he walked through when he first saw Kate was priceless. I was then taken to the spot where Ben proposed to Kate and by spot, I mean the EXACT spot. We walked, I asked question after question, Kate and Ben answered and I really got to see into their lives on a perfect evening.
