Oh what a wedding!
Over a year ago I found myself sitting at Meg’s Daily Grind with Jana and Mike and I am thinking to myself, that this is just one amazing, laid back, in love, couple. Add in this was only a few weeks after I had photographed my first wedding at The Pavilion and I really had no clue what that wedding was going to do me (it was an incredibly good thing as hindsight showed me) and I really hoped I would able to tell Jana and Mike’s story. Fast forward to yesterday and not only was able to capture their day, I was the one who felt blessed to be a part of it. After a year of exchanging emails, having coffee multiple times, photographing their engagement session, hearing the stories of how they met, laughing with Jana’s mother…. I truly felt like a guest. A guest with huge camera (sometimes even two) hanging from my neck but a guest nonetheless. Jana and Mike, from the little one’s who were just abosultely perfect, to a Bridal Party that treated me like a part of the wedding, to parents that made me laugh and to a couple who I will always remember, I truly thank you.
*click* …… *click* ….. It is about 9:45pm and I sitting across a pond with with the reflection of The Pavilion in the water, listening to Luxe Productions kill it inside, watching people dance like there is no tomorrow, all while my camera next to me is capturing star trail photographs……. “Oh what a wedding….”.
