Last fall, when the leaves were crunchy and the air was crisp, I walked through Rock Cut state park with Holly and Tom while I photographed their engagement session. As we walked and talked, there are a few things that stuck out to me but more than anything that they as they did things together it was just so effortless. They were a couple where them being together seemed to be a long settled conclusion, it was almost as if they had no choice in the matter, it was always just supposed to be this way. Sometimes people get in there own way, I am so very guilty of this. With Holly and Tom, the opposite was true. If they wanted to get into each others way, I do not think they would have any idea where to start.
This is probably the reason why Holly and Tom’s wedding was one that just flowed through the whole day. Even with a couple of bumps, it never really changed the mood. Much like water exerts such little effort moving around a rock, Holly and Tom just moved through their wedding, arm in arm with such ease. It truly was a pleasure to watch this and be there to photograph it. Thank you for choosing me to be that lucky photographer!!
