Gina and Matt | Wedding in Rockford Illinois

Sometimes I do not get the chance to meet my couples face to face before their wedding, I really like too but sometimes the time and distance between us tells us otherwise. This does give me the chance to really watch them together for the first time on their wedding day. With an engagement session, they have spent the entire day together, living life, picking out an outfit, planning a dinner date… all the things a regular couple would do. With a wedding, it is MUCH different. You have not seem each other yet and you have quite a few more things to stress and worry about. So when that moment comes when you do get to see each other for the first time, that is also the first time I am seeing you as a couple.

When Gina and Matt go t to see each other, I could not help but notice how everyone else around them seemed to just melt into the background. All they did when they finally came together was laugh, like they had no care in the world and today was just lazy pajama day.

Couples, take note. This is how it should be on your wedding day! Work hard in planning and preparing for your wedding, crack the whip if need be to get things done. You do all of that so on your wedding day you just laugh with the person you love the most. If you do that, I promise you, you are going to have some fun and I will give you photographs you can cherish forever!
