Once a couple is married and they head back to their jobs or hang out with their friends or post photographs on social sites, I am sure many of them are asked “How was your wedding?”. It is a common questions, a question that sometimes is probably asked to just hear about a couple’s day. I mean, what is a couple really supposed to say when asked that question? Their wedding day usually packs in so many different memories, it has to be overwhelming to explain it. Here is my tip to you asking about a wedding. Ask the couple how they felt on their day. Ask them what a favorite moment was. Ask them when did they feel the most happiness. People can almost always remember in detail emotional moments rather than over experiences. Think about it yourself, the poignant moments in life are almost always moments where we felt a deep emotion.

As I  was looking through Courtney and Adam’s wedding photographs, that is one thing I really noticed about them. No matter what part of the day they were in, they always look so emotionally involved in the moment. From beginning to the end of the day, they always looked very in tune with was happening. I bet the questions of “how was your wedding?” to “What was your happiest moment?” would invoke a much different response. This is why photographs are so important, both to remember the actual events but also to remember how you felt in those events. Courtney and Adam, thank you for letting be the person that was able to share all the moments and the emotions of your day!
