A quick phone call from a friend Friday night, led to a great experience to a sport I have always had a strong curiosity about, Rugby. The Rockford Raves are local RFC that was established in 1976 and has been going strong since. An absolutely perfect Saturday morning made me wishing I at least had a rough idea of what was taking place so I could join in controlled mayhem. The one thing that really surprised me was the difference in body types on the field. So many different sizes and shapes, but as the match flowed, it all made sense as to why there was the difference. An excellent experience that I will for sure be visiting again.
