Kristen and Tim | Rockford IL Wedding

2 and 1/2 years ago I got the chance to meet Kristen and Tim at Tim’s sister’s (Jaci) wedding. I was Jaci’s photographer as well and in Jaci’s wedding, Kristen and Tim were a Bridesmaid and Groomsman. Through the past couple of years Jaci and Nathan and Jaci’s mom Kathy, have been absurdly supportive of me. When I look back at their wedding, I have such amazing memories. Including a certain couple who were a Bridesmaid and Groomsman. I have met many couples who are in the bridal party through the years and I have been told quite often that when they get married they are going to make sure I am their photographer. More often than not, I get email from them, sometimes even years later. So when I received the “email” from Kristen, I was more than excited to be part of their wedding. For me there is no greater wedding inquiry I can receive from not only a couple that has seen photographs from a wedding I photographed but a couple that has also experienced firsthand what working with me is like. I have said it time and time again but I will repeat it again. I am not a wedding studio that seeks volume. I am individual person that seeks out specific couples and I work hard at presenting myself on Facebook, day to day life and on a wedding day that is a true representation of whom I am and my approach to wedding photography.

What has happened to me in the 2+ years since I met Kristen and Tim are really just silly amazing. Yet, Kristen and Tim, you are the EXACT reason for that happening. Couples like you are, couples that are excited to BE married, are the only reason I photograph weddings. Kristen and Tim and also Jaci, Nathan and Kathy…. Thank you for choosing me to document some of the most important days of your lives and I hope to know all of you and stay close to you for years to come!
