This Polyphemus moth made an apperance on my deck a few mornings ago and wow it was huge! In my hurry to get some photographs I forgot to take a photograph next to something to give you an idea of its size. In the first photograph the deck boards that the moth is on are 6″ wide to help a little in understanding just how big it was.
