The trees are turning green, the days are longer, the birds and signing and after this long winter, I am finally thawing out and spending time with couples outside of my studio. Alexa and Evan took me up to Madison WI a few days ago and gave me a preview of what their wedding was going to be like. It was a preview of laughs, both at and with each other, a preview of some great quiet moments and a preview of their story. As we took out time wander through the Wisconsin Capitol building and The Edgewater Hotel, I got to hear bits and pieces of their story. More often though, I got the experience their story and see their story. You see, the took me to spot where Evan proposed to Alexa. Lucky for all of us it was a little bit warmer! Evan dropped to his knee this winter when the area around the ice house was an open air ice skating rink.
